A 4 Part Childbirth Education Series designed for the Homebirthing Family

Thursdays 2-4pm In Person & Online

November 17th, December 1st, December 15th & January 12th

In Person spaces limited to only 3 couples.

We will walk through child birth as a Rite of Passage, an initiation; breaking down how to prepare for the unpredictable nature of the process and ways to prepare.

Each session will cover topics such as

• Health and wellness throughout pregnancy

• Communication and Information for parents creating birth team

• What is different about having a homebirth?

• The mechanics of labor and what to expect

• The variations of a normal birth

• Address fears that may be present around birth and parenthood

• Ways partners/support people can be helpful throughout the birth process

• How to prepare for and cope with the sensations of labor (positions, hands on comfort techniques, breathing, etc.)

• Understanding complications

• What to expect if you transfer to the hospital

• What to expect once baby is born

• How to prepare for postpartum

The series is curated by the specific needs of the group. We will discuss everything listed as well as have time to share and ask questions.

Each class will be recorded and you will have access to the recordings for the duration of the course.
