This month’s Playdate Potluck is being held at the home of Saveria, Joshua and their family in Walden, VT. They have invited us to have a cider press party! Bring your apples and jars, a dish to pass and dress for the weather! Not sure where to get apples? Get in touch!

The Playdate Potluck is a coming together of generations to cultivate a community that understands the importance of taking care of our families.

Children need parents that feel supported and connected within a community to thrive. The intention of this gathering is to create a space for children to learn from one another, to play and feel safe in community and in nature. It is to provide a place where parents can feel a sense of ease knowing their children are loved and held by our community.

This is a call to our community members; the elders, grandparents, men, women and responsible youth, to step forward and nurture the reciprocal relationship that exists in tending to the families of our community.

This is an invitation to create a better world and a better future.

We meet for 3 hours, share food, sing, play, share and craft conversations about how we can thrive as a society, honoring the ones that are raising the fire tenders, teachers, healers and elders of the new earth.

Are you interested in offering support? We are always looking for individuals to be present, keep an eye on the children (parents are always present and are the primary caretakers), help lead activities and create barriers. Simply having extra eyes, hands and hearts can create an environment of relaxation and safety for families.
