Black Moon Red Tent
Traditionally, young girls, women, mothers and elders have sat together to ensure the passage of teachings, medicine, stories, songs and more.
This is an invitation to women and girls of all generations to gather in circle, share, connect and learn from one another.
The Passages of menstruation, childbirth, and menopause are meant to be ushered in, shared about and honored among circles of sisterhood.
This space is one to remember and surrender to your deepest needs under the soft release of the new moon energy. It is an opportunity for our elders to pass down their wisdom and for the youth to inspire.
There will be hot tea and light snacks provided. Feel free to bring a snack to share if it feels easeful. Bring your favorite mug, bowl and utensils.
We will gather in the dance studio at The Highland Center for the Arts in Greensboro.
Registration is required and space is limited.
Dress comfortably. Bring water and something comfortable to sit on. If you feel called, you can bring an offering for the alter or to share with the women in the circle.
